With God's help, my weekly Parsha podcast is being downloaded over 250 times each week on Itunes, and I would like to share it with a broader audience, hence it appears on this blog. I have also begun a new shiur, which will be daily, God willing, entitled the Daily Dvar. In this shiur, we have begun to peruse the sefer Shem Olam, written by the Chofetz Chaim. This unique Parsha podcast is filled with machshava, deep philosophical Jewish thought, based on traditional sources, from the ancient to the recent. All of the ideas are rooted in Torah tradition, filled with a spiritual message that is potent and poignant for the times.
In general I try to keep the Parsha Podcast between 10 and 15 minutes.
The Daily Dvar's purpose is to be a consistent Podcast, with God's help, coming out daily and limited to around 5 minutes. It is based on the work of the Chofetz Chaim and I use it as a springboard for some other ideas as well.
